Bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University, 1968; master of science in mechanical engineering from MIT, 1969; master of science in electrical engineering from Rutgers University, 1978; honorary doctorate of engineering from Lehigh University in 1988; aviator, USAF; Lieutenant Colonel TANG (National Guard of Texas); hobbies: golf and woodworking; later Supervisor, Information Systems Engineering Department, AT&T Bell Laboratories; President Loral Skynet in Bedminster, New Jersey. In 2004, he retired as President of Loral Skynet, a satellite communications company, in order to join the engineering faculty at his old alma mater, Lehigh University, teaching aerospace engineering.
